You will see Roman Athens in the ruins of the temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian’s arch.

The National Gardens, the gardens of Zappeion Hall and the fine marble stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896, form an attractive part of the city which evokes the beauty of ancient times.
